CHIPS AHOY!

Chips Ahoy! is already a playful brand—the fact that it is one of the only Mondeléz brands with a mascot made it even more fun. Knowing the goal was to push the creative capabilities and limits of 3D animation—I quickly learned it would be difficult to control as an outsourced piece of business. Therefore, I spearheaded the pitch for the 3D animation business, against the clients AOR, and won!

I built and managed creative teams through the conceptualization and development of cross-platform content with an emphasis in animation, VFX, and film. Ensured creative and production optimizations while bridging gaps between local and global capabilities. Navigated and managed complex workstream collaborations across NY, LA, BA, and AMS.

During the initial projects, I identified cross functional learnings and developed an animation “bible”, in order to level-up the craft and create new, smoother efficiencies for future projects. I partnered with global sr. creative leads, animators, and production co-leads to optimize technology workflows—parallel pathing an investmentment to transition from Houdini to Maya. This would allow us to maximizing a more cost-effective solution for future projects involving the Chip render.

“CHIP’S GOT TALENT” DIGITAL + SOCIAL

Partnering with America’s Got Talent, Chips Ahoy! highlighted Chips’ hidden singing talent via a digital and social campaign. As the first project with our new client, we developed two short form concepts, ‘Pre Show Warm Up’ and ‘Stage Ahoy!’, delivering fit-for-format animations within 3 months.

“CHIP at scale” DIGITAL + SOCIAL

We continued to evolve Chip’s 3D model, developing an ever growing library of facial expressions, body movements, accessories/props, and more. This was the start to opening up creative possibilities—a constant goal for clients now in reach. This came into play quickly, during our second project with ChipsAhoy! A mixed effort to create content at scale and incorporate an Olympic partnership via a digital/social campaign, and rich media banner campaign.
